Student Population

Services that optimize the students preparation in learning:

Title 1

- Compensatory Education
- English as a Second Language
- Supplemental Instruction
- Corrective Speech
- Examinations and Classification

Health Services
- Part time nurse on staff K-8; screening for hearing, sight and scoliosis.
- Fire drill procedure posted in all rooms.
- Crisis manual for each classroom and school wide.

Guidance
- A School Guidance Counselor is available on Mondays (PM only) and Tuesdays (all day). Provided by Catapult Learning.

Food Services
- Federal hot lunch program

Transportation
- School is within walking distance.
- Parking lot available for student arrival and departure by car.
- City crossing guard at major intersections.

Student Population

With a total student body of 208 the average class size is 22. Our student population is very diverse representing over 35 different countries. Primarily our population is one-third each of Hispanic, Asian, and Caucasian. Students who are new to our school, whether from other area schools or other states/countries, assimilate quickly because of the inclusive atmosphere of our school.
