Pennies for Patients
Pennies for Patients is a two-week campaign in which students of all ages are encouraged to donate spare change to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The Society makes the program easy for schools by providing all materials needed: lesson plans and educational materials on blood-related cancers, an age-appropriate video, coin canisters and coin-counting tubes. In addition, each school will be raising funds in honor of a local leukemia patient. St. Nicholas School will be joining thousands of schools nationwide as we raise funds to help cure leukemia and other blood-related cancers through the Pennies for Patients® program.
