Reminders
There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday in observance of President's Day. Talk to your child about the presidents that we learned about in school :)
Please make sure to sign and return all tests after reviewing them!! If they do not come back to school, the test grade is changed to a zero. Thanks so much for your cooperation!!
Terra Nova testing will take place March 5-9. Students have been practicing and preparing for the upcoming test here. In order to help them reach their full potential, here are some things you can do at home:
encourage them to read things alone, then ask them comprehension questions after
use ixl.com at home, this covers EVERYTHING they need to know for the test! If you need the password, let me know!!
Set an early bedtime for your child, and pack them a healthy snack
Talk about the test with them, tell them that you want them to do the best that THEY can do
Keep a calm environment for your child
Please help your child to remember to bring theirblue folder,homework and homework notebook home and bring it back each day. We are working on being responsible for our own things and your help is greatly appreciated!!!
