This is a great
site for students to log onto in
order to play educational games to practice weekly
spelling words! Parents, you can help your child log onto the
site by easily clicking on the tab that says, "Find a List". When you click on this you will come to page that says "Enter search term", type in my name, Sister Karen.
Enter search term: Sister Karen
Click search and it will bring you to a page with my name (Sister Karen) just click on my name. Go down the page until you see "Vocabulary and Spelling Lists". Click on the current spelling list at the bottom of the list (Example: Spelling List 1). Lastly, choose a game or activity to practice your spelling words. Happy studying!!!

Is a great website for students to use when doing their spelling homework on Tuesdays. Students have to write their spelling words showing the syllables in each word. Just type in a spelling word and click "GO". The page will show you how to separate each word into syllables. [ Example: 15. engine en-gine (2) ]

This great site has Math activities relating to skills that will be taught and reviewed this year in 2nd grade. Just click on 2nd Grade and choose which Math skill to practice. I ask students to use this site to practice addition and subtraction facts.

Every math topic covered in second grade is here! It is not a free site, but it is very worth it! You can sign up for a free trial and see!!! We will also be using this site in computer each week to review math concepts.
