Our 6th and 7th graders worked on a special project End-of-year Project in Computer class. They created their own Interactive Games.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Working in pairs, their assignment is to create an educational game (such as Jeopardy) that is interactive, based on their choice of subject: Science, Social Studies, Religion, Math or Language Arts, through the use of Microsoft PowerPoint program.

Interactive Game is a game done through an electronic/computer program where participants can obtain data or commands and receive instant/immediate results.

This project is another way we integrate Technology with our other subjects (Science, Math, etc). Students can apply the skills they've learned in Computer and Technology to learning more effectively and problem solving.

I am proud to say the students did an excellent job on their games. We are sharing their projects online for not only parents and other students to check out but for students and teachers in other parts of the country and the world to use and share in their classes.

In this digital age where we do almost everything online, we also need to be aware of the great risk we can put our kids in, even in the safe confines of our home. Here are some sites you can go on to learn more about internet safety.
In Computer class, learning can be so much FUN!
